It’s no secret that the Funky Bus sessions are a fan favorite. From first birthdays to Sweet 16s, family reunions, prom proposals, engagement celebrations, holidays, and beyond, the bus has been a part of countless celebrations and cherished moments. People just can’t get enough of the vibrant and fun-loving atmosphere it brings.
The Funky Bus Mini Sessions are a whirlwind of fun, offering 20 minutes of fast-paced photography magic. These sessions effortlessly blend the beauty of the California coastline and landscapes with the classic charm of the 1968 VW bus. The result? Gorgeous imagery that captures the essence of every moment.
The Funky Bus
The Funky Bus is a brilliant blue van that captivates hearts from the moment it pulls up. The 1968 pop-up roof allows for standing room inside the bus, and the bohemian-inspired interior is a dream. With LED lights, eucalyptus-styled flooring, and classic Z bed couches, it’s a world of comfort and style.
Behind the wheel of The Funky Bus is owner, Dan Funk. Dan is a father of three little ones and husband to his wonderful wife, Lauren, who is the sweetest! They make the cutest couple driving around Cali in their fully restored VW bus. You can’t help but smile when you see The Funky Bus pull up.
In addition to the amazing memories captured with The Funky Bus, it is also about creating an unforgettable experience. Leigh Castelli Photography provides customized goodie bags for all the kiddos and fur babies at the end of each session, which is just the icing on the cake!
The past five years of this amazing collaboration has brought so much laughter, smiles, and unforgettable moments to countless families and individuals. I am so glad everyone loves these sessions as much as we do and incredibly grateful for the last five years with Dan and the funkiest bus in San Diego!
